INCIDENT REPORT – RC-2

HIGHLY CLASSIFIED

Incident: At 9:06 PM on 1/6/20, Francis Otte (Head of Security) received an alert from Archives that a breach had occurred in the SA subsector. Operative Rina Chaudhary was observed on security cameras shooting the armed guards, entering the subsector, and removing numerous conduits from their containment cells to arrange in a circle on the floor. Operative Chaudhary then activated SA-008, after which the operative vanished from the room, along with the stolen conduits and approx. 325 lb of concrete.

 

Following this incident, a full inventory of the SA subsector was conducted. Aside from SA-008, the following conduits were reported missing:

 

  • SA-001 (The Rifle)

  • SA-005 (The Stone)

  • SA-009 (The Flower)

  • SA-011 (The Camping Tent)

  • SA-011b (The Compass)

  • SA-015 (The Handheld Radio)

  • SA-016 (The Knife)

  • SA-021 (The Video Camera)

  • SA-027 (The Wine Bottle)

  • SA-030 (The Pill Bottle)

  • SA-042 (The Journal)

  • SA-042b (The Bookmark)

  • SA-046 (The Compact Mirror)

  • SA-050 (The Coin)

 

It is unknown how Operative Chaudhary handled SA-005 and SA-015 without activating their effects. Further testing is recommended when the conduits are returned to RC custody.

 

Actions Taken: RC currently has no conduits with time displacement effects which could be used to track Operative Chaudhary. Increased surveillance has been implemented to search for the known effects of the above conduits in the wild, after which a retrieval team will be dispatched to secure the conduits. 

 

(Note from CK: We have no way of knowing if SA-008 transported Operative Chaudhary and the above conduits into the future, in which case we will be unable to secure the conduits and apprehend the Operative until they reappear. We also don’t know if the Operative used SA-008 to make multiple trips through time.)

 

UPDATE 1/27/24: Sightings of SA-016 (see the SA-016 Official Report) seem to indicate that the conduit was transported to the year 1925 (estimated), which predates Operative Chaudhary’s birth date. This is the only reported instance of SA-008 being used to effectively transport its wearer to a date outside of their own lifespan. Further testing of SA-008 is recommended when returned to RC custody.
