INCIDENT REPORT – BV-1

CLASSIFIED

Reported by Francis Otte (Head of Security)

Incident: On 9/6/08, in the forest outside Blackstone Valley, PA, undercover RC operative Trevor Hallden (known to the public as “Lance Graves”) was killed, along with 3 members of his film crew and 11 civilians. The circumstances surrounding the massacre are unclear. The statement from Blackstone Valley law enforcement suggests that Operative Hallden and the other victims were killed by a feral bear; however, we have reason to believe the murders were committed by Entity BV-001 (known to the public as “The Skulker”).

Actions Taken: Interviews were conducted with the survivors of the incident. All were local to Blackstone Valley, with the exception of 7-year-old Simon Chen. Simon was unable to answer our questions as the trauma from the incident rendered him mute, and he refused to communicate with us through writing. None of the Blackstone Valley locals we interviewed refuted the “feral bear” explanation.

Operative Hallden’s body was recovered and cremated. His film equipment was unable to be retrieved, as his trailer was raided by an unknown third party sometime before our arrival. Investigations are underway into the identity of the third party and the location of Operative Hallden’s equipment.

Due to the violent nature exhibited by Entity BV-001, neutralization and containment are recommended.

UPDATE 10/3/08: Our efforts to further investigate and secure Blackstone Valley have hit a roadblock, as the area seems to be under surveillance by the US government (likely as a result of the massacre). It’s unclear whether the FBI knows we’re here, but I suspect they’re working with local law enforcement to cover up the involvement of Entity BV-001. Caution is advised.

UPDATE 7/29/24: Details from the newly uncovered “Weird Brothers” blog post seem to indicate that, despite our earlier assumptions, the Blackstone Valley massacre was NOT carried out by Entity BV-001, but rather Sheriff Jim Brennan and other Blackstone Valley locals. If the FBI knows this and has done nothing to act on it, we may want to consider Blackstone Valley compromised and withdraw our ongoing investigations.
