OFFICIAL REPORT – CONDUITS SA-011 & SA-011b
CLASSIFICATION: Level 2 Threat
LOCATION: Unknown

Description: Conduit SA-011 is a light green canvas camping tent with a single opening flap. From the outside, the conduit appears to have a base area of 6 sq ft and a height of 5 ft; however, the interior of the conduit contains far greater dimensions, and may extend an infinite distance (or be so vast that measuring it is impossible with our limited tools).

Conduit SA-011b is a plastic green compass. Although this conduit only exhibits effects when paired with Conduit SA-011, it can be removed from its parent conduit without causing any issues. When the two conduits are separated, SA-011b does not function as a normal compass, and will always point to SA-011 instead of pointing north.

Known Effects: Conduit SA-011 contains a seemingly endless labyrinth made out of the same canvas as the conduit’s outer surface. Unless the individual entering the tent is holding Conduit SA-011b, the flap will immediately seal behind them and make exit impossible, as the canvas seems impervious to tearing. The seal will only open if another individual attempts to enter while holding SA-011b.

When used inside SA-011, the needle of Conduit SA-011b always points directly to the exit of the tent. Without the use of SA-011b, there is no apparent way to traverse the maze, as the canvas walls appear to shift behind the user.

(Note from CK: any test operatives entering SA-011 without SA-011b MUST NOT LEAVE THE ATRIUM, as there is no known way to retrieve you if you get lost.)

Threat Level: While Conduit SA-011b appears to be harmless, Conduit SA-011 is impossible to explore without it, and test operatives who have tried to do so have never returned. Although it presents a serious danger to its user, SA-011 is a passive conduit, and as such is designated a LEVEL 3 THREAT.

UPDATE: SA-011 has either developed sentient life or we’ve ventured deep enough in the maze to find it. This new entity (SA-011c) exhibits hostile behavior and has been seen smothering test operatives in canvas and dragging them further into the maze. It is unclear whether Entity SA-011c is capable of leaving SA-011, but the conduit has been contained and access has been restricted until this can be confirmed. In the meantime, Conduit SA-011’s threat level has been escalated to a LEVEL 2 THREAT.

ADDENDUM: SA-011 and SA-011b are no longer in RC custody. For a full description of the containment breach and the list of conduits affected, refer to Incident Report RC-2.
