Description: Conduit SF-157 is a San Francisco trolley numbered 5734. When at rest, the conduit is a burnt orange color with a white roof and pale electric headlight. When in motion, however, the conduit cycles through a series of random colors, including some outside of human perception. Passengers can be viewed inside the conduit, but all attempts to contact or extricate them have failed.

 

Known Effects: Conduit SF-157 is capable of spontaneous teleportation, wherein it vanishes and reappears in a new location. This effect appears to be random, although SF-157 always manifests within the borders of San Francisco after its teleportation. When following ordinary trolley tracks, SF-157 functions as normal and will open its doors to passengers, despite having no driver; however, when detached from the tracks, its doors are impossible to open. 

 

The space within SF-157 also seems to have undergone extreme dimensional manipulation. When viewed through the conduit’s windows, its passengers appear in various states of distortion, often lacking faces or vibrating at extreme speed. None seem distressed by their predicament, and on the rare occasions when the conduit opens its doors, no passengers have ever been seen trying to escape.

 

Threat Level: Conduit SF-157 is capable of extreme reality manipulation and dimensional distortion, and its unpredictable travel patterns (combined with its mundane appearance) make it a severe threat to the civilian population of San Francisco. For this reason, SF-157 is designated a LEVEL 1 THREAT and is in dire need of containment, if possible.

 

ADDENDUM: As of 5/3/17, Conduit SF-157 appears to have been neutralized. US government agents were observed using explosives to destroy the conduit while it was in motion, which seems to have nullified its reality distortion effects. The location of the wreckage is unknown, as it was swiftly removed by said agents, but SF-157 has not been sighted again since the incident. (Note from CK: I’m not surprised that the FBI’s solution to this problem was throwing a bomb at it, but their acquisition of the conduit’s wreckage is concerning. The federal government may know more about dimensional incursions than we first thought.)

 

ADDENDUM 2: As of 5/22/24, a newly recovered blog post on the “Weird Brothers Case Files” website hints that Conduit SF-157 originated from the year 2010, and was likely turned into a conduit after being transported through time by a civilian (identity unknown) using the effects of SA-008. It is unknown how this civilian obtained SA-008 or learned of its effects. (See Dr. Lariset’s WB-002 Research Report for further speculation.)
